About the institute

The Institute of Management in Latin America is an off-campus office of the University of St Gallen founded in 2018 after a long tradition of successful exchanges with this region.

With an office in São Paulo, Brazil, and partnerships throughout the continent, the Institute is mandated to promote academic diplomacy. That includes enhancing excellence in teaching, fostering research collaborations, and providing executive education.

Our institute provides diverse educational programs to enrich students' academic and professional growth, including Latam Term, Latam Compacts, curriculum options at St Gallen, and thesis supervision opportunities. Additionally, the Institute fosters cultural exchange and understanding between Switzerland and Latin America through immersive activities and events, allowing students to engage with the vibrant cultural heritage of Latin America and share their experiences with peers.
