Visit of Professor Martin J. Eppler

From September 1-7, we had the privilege of hosting Professor Martin J. Eppler, the Prorector of the Universität St.Gallen (HSG), in Medellín, Colombia. Some of the highlights of his visit were engaging institutional meetings with renowned universities as Universidad de Antioquia and Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, the second GIMLA conference Insights for Sustainable Impact in partnership with Universidad EAFIT, and a deep dive into the city's rich cultural environment.

A great opportunity to show how Latin America has increased its presence in the academic field and how we can contribute and learn from this! The Institute of Management in Latin America - University of St.Gallen fulfilled its mandate to give members of the University of St. Gallen the opportunity to familiarize themselves with other cultures and international markets and to open windows for new collaborations.

Medellín, and indeed all of South America, is a hotbed of innovation that offers valuable insights for similar endeavors in Europe, underscoring the importance of local experiences. The GIMLA team extends its heartfelt gratitude to Martin J. Eppler for his invaluable contributions in branding knowledge and for the Executive Education Program Teaser.
