Anthony Boanada-Fuchs is a trained architect and urban planner (two MSc degrees obtained at the TU Delft) with a doctorate in development studies obtained at the Graduate Institute in Geneva and post-doc experience at several interdisciplinary research institutes (Centre for Metropolitan Research of the University of Sao Paulo, Europainstitute of the University Basel, Institute of Geography and Sustainability of the University Lausanne, and the ETH-CASE in Zürich). Seit 2018 ist er am Institute of Management in Latin America (GIMLA) tätig und hat mehrere Auftragsstudien angeworben und ausgeführt (Cities Alliance, Metropolis, Centre for Affordable Housing Finance Africa, LC3).
My teaching activities focus on architecture, most notably housing, and urban development. Currently, I offer a MA course "Urban Development Challenges and Emerging Solutions in the 21st century" at the HSG, "Housing Challenges, Issues and Solutions in the Global South" at the ETH Zürich, and provide several lectures within the post-graduation course ETH MAS in Housing. Recent guest lectures were given at the ISS The Hague, University of Basel, and University of Sao Paulo.
